I would give this trip 10 stars if I could! What a fun weekend with Janine from Together in Tuscany. Everything was perfectly curated to provide delicious food, wine and olive oil during our Taste of Tuscany in Virginia. Janine's hospitality ensured our time at The Marriott Ranch in Hume Virginia was exceptional, with activities well-paced to also allow for down time and socialization in between delicious and informative events! Friday started with a delicious multi-course dinner prepared in the Farmhouse kitchen by a personal chef, along with a pasta-making demo and other informative information on Italian cuisine. Saturday started with a Tiramisu-making class taught by Janine. We each made our own individual Tiramisus and had them at dinner in the evening! Then we learned about and tasted artisan premium extra virgin olive oils from different regions in Italy. We learned about the differences in the oils, and how to properly taste, shop for, store and cook with them. Janine coordinated with the head chef to ensure our lunch and dinner menus featured delicious Italian selections and were paired with delicious wines. Saturday afternoon's highlight was a presentation from an Italian scholar featuring folk tales and songs from the Italian alps. Dinner that night included a wine pairing with each course. What a memorable and fun weekend! I highly recommend this adventure to anyone who wants to experience the tastes, music and fun that Tuscany offers.

Our girls weekend retreat at Marriott Ranch was absolutely wonderful. The setting is peaceful and beautiful — the perfect place to relax and reconnect. Janine coordinated everything flawlessly. The food was exceptional, including a private chef originally from Italy the first night. We loved learning to make tiramisu and enjoyed an authentic olive oil tasting led by a native Italian — such a unique and special experience. An unforgettable weekend of friendship and amazing food. Janine also has retreats planned to Italy and Portugal, and I highly recommend her tours!

Janine, Val and Susan hosted a fun, tasty and informative olive oil tasting event at Olio2go! Having traveled with Janine on one of her fabulous trips to Tuscany, it was a wonderful way to continue the adventure! Tasting olive oils from different parts of Italy, and tasting foods made with them was a special experience! Who knew that olive oil is delicious over Gelato! I highly recommend this delicious and fun experience. Olio2go is my new favorite shop! It has so many authentic Italian choices, and Val's selectively curated selection of olive oils olive oil are stored in her temperature controlled warehouse to ensure you get the freshest oil possible! Susan is an expert on Italian food and has a deep knowledge of all Italian olive oils. Thanks to Janine for bringing all of us together for a very enjoyable evening!
