About your trip

Step back in time where an ancient hamlet in the Val d’Orcia is your home for the week, still inhabited by a fifth generation noble family. The hamlet itself is steeped in Etruscan history as are the artfully mastered creations you will make during the on-site workshops. The entire hamlet is yours to explore.

Picture yourself participating in hands-on workshops led by local artisans that are rooted in ancient Italian traditions such as block printing, jewelry making and maiolica tile painting. In addition to the workshops, you will explore the nearby towns of Pienza, Montepulciano and Sarteano and meet some of the artisans in their own workshops.

This is not just a place to stay, it’s a place to belong. When you walk the grounds, you trace the footsteps of Etruscan artisans, medieval knights, noble families, and farmers who shaped the land for centuries.
